No. There was an expose on FMU about two years ago. The expose was by the Tampa Tribune. Students found that their degrees were worthless and not recognized by potential employers. FMU lacked several accreditations. At the time, FMU said they were in the process of getting accredited. Meanwhile, students were stuck with worthless diplomas. FMU is also high-pressure on the sales end - they will say almost anything to get you to enroll. I would suggest you look at other options such as Hillsborough Community College.

It's considered a decent school here in Florida. Not as good as FSU or UF, but there is a distict advantage going to a smaller school if you ask me.
I went to FAU myself ( Florida Atlantic University )
