Just rinse with water. You should use some kind on conditioner and leave in for about 5 minutes after completely rinsing with water.

Immediately after colouring your hair, you should rinse it with just water until the water runs clears, and then just condition it. If you wash it with shampoo, you'll be washing some of the colour out. You want the colour to stick to your hair follicle as much as it can so it doesn't fade as fast.

I think most instructions say to just rinse with water, then use the conditioner that comes with the package. And I wouldn't wash your hair for a day or two after colouring, just to make sure it "sets". At least that's what my stylist says over here in the UK...

Shampoo with a mild soap and always condition. Although if your color of choice is red, just rinse with water and condition. Red fades the fastest.

shampoo it 2 times then condition it very good. rinse with cold water it closes you hair cuticle and locks in the color
