as we say Holidays instead of Christmas as we wouldn't want to offend heathens, what is a good politically correct and user friendly way to tell someone they are going to hell? we don't want of be offensive. Any ideas? How bout you are going to a very warm climate with a with alot of open minded tollerant people, lotsa diversity, and all. After all since hell doesn't sound very pleasant and might offend someone, what can one say to make it sound more appealing to everyone and all inclusive? Just a thought

"All your friends will be there!"

Or, "None of those pesky Christian people will be there!"

The Only Thing Jesus ever Said was the Truth.
Sometimes the Truth Offends some People. Others not.
Jesus Taught about alot of Things. One of them was Hell.
BUT, Jesus Told us Just befor HE left to Preach the GOSPEL (the GOOD NEWS that Jesus Loves us and Died for us on the Cross) not Beat everybody About the Head and Shoulders by giving them "Hell".
I am getting tired of Hearing about hell too.
I want to Hear About HEAVEN, what Jesus Died on the Cross for so We could Go There Instead.

"as we say Holidays instead of Christmas as we wouldn't want to offend heathens"

Where did you get that idea? People say Happy Holiday and Season's Greetings not to avoid offending us "heathens," it is because there are OTHER people also having holidays and celebrations during the same part of the year! People get "offended" over people flipping out over the "holiday" word because it makes them seem greedy and selfish that they want the 'holiday' season to be all about them only.

With your apparent attitude...you just might be enjoying that nice warm extended vacation yourself.

How do YOU know who is going to Hell?
Isn't that a decision for someone in higher authority? Or are you now the judge of all of us lower beings who need your input?
Get real for just a second.
Why does what I believe matter one little bit to you? You don't know me, and you can't possibly see through my eyes.
Why don't you spend your time and energy being the kindest, bravest, most loving person on the planet, and then you wouldn't have any free time to trash other people's beliefs.
Wrap your mind around this for one second. I am a grandmother. I was raised in the USA by Christian people. I served in the Navy, and I vote. I am happy to profess that I am an atheist, because I think and believe that all "religion" is nonsense. I sent my kids to public school ,and they came home with nativity scene coloring books, and got sent home for reading horoscopes in study hall. I think it is outrageous, since school is supposed to be a secular place to teach reading and math, not christian values and doctrine. My children and I believe in a lot of "religious"-even christian values-but not all of them. We use our brains to decide what we want to do and not do.
I am not afraid of a place that doesn't exist except in the cruel and confused imaginations of selfish and controlling people.
So I am not saving lotion for my "trip to the Tropics."
Since when is being tolerant of other people a bad thing? You better hope I am tolerant of YOU. Live and let live. Mind your own business. Get your own life-not mine.

WOW, what meanness! Does a bit of simple politeness hurt you that much to perform?! Do you really think politeness is only for your fellow and sister Christians?

"You can deny all you want that there is etiquette, and a lot of people do in everyday life. But if you behave in a way that offends the people you're trying to deal with, they will stop dealing with you...There are plenty of people who say, 'We don't care about etiquette, but we can't stand the way so-and-so behaves, and we don't want him around!' Etiquette doesn't have the great sanctions that the law has. But the main sanction we do have is in not dealing with these people and isolating them because their behavior is unbearable."--Miss Manners

I'm not sure what you're getting at, but I'm so tired of all the politically correct stuff. It's amazing that we're so worried about saying "Christmas" but the "What should I do retard" can ask 50 questions a day. Retard seems to be more offensive than anything.

So....Merry Christmas. If you're Jewish and I don't know it, then tell me. Everyone else is riding on the 'religious" coat tails and want a reason to give presents to people.

Hell is not friendly or politically correct. If you want to talk about it, then be prepared to offend people. People tell me I'm an idiot to believe in a fairy tale. So? It just tells me where they're at spiritually. I'm secure in my relationship with God to care what they think. Personally, I think evangelizing in a way that tells people they're going to Hell is a sure fire way to send them there. (hey, good pun). I would have never come to know Christ just because someone was telling me I'd go to Hell. So, my advice....don't bring up Hell, unless someone asks. There are many more ways to bring God & Jesus up in a conversation.

Tell people about Christ by the way you live and your actions.

Political correctness is the cowardice of America. Political correctness is the problem in Iraq as we speak. The only thing you are allowed to bash is Christianity. Nobody cares about that! If we love Jesus, then we are laughed at and ridiculed. I'll not take part in political correctness. Call a spade a spade.

Consider this. If heaven was made for those who have been cleansed of all sin and made holy, then hell was made for sinners. Since Satan WANTS us to sin, HELPS us sin, made a place JUST for sinners, doesn't it make sense that hell is actually a massive sin-fest? How else would Satan rewared all those who have sinned but make a place filled with sin for them to spend eternity in? Heaven is a place where there is no sin, hell is therefore the opposite: A place filled with only sin. Those who go there spend eternity drinking, partying, copulating, committing deviant acts, coveting each other, being gluttonous, prideful, lazy, greedy and self-indulgent. I can live with that.

I'd prefer it if you just keep your F*in mouth shut.

The logic of an all loving God that would condemn ANYONE to hell is just patently RIDICULOUS. The idea that an all powerful, all knowing God would create an imperfect race of people, then punish them for not being perfect, and then send his only Son to DIE for their salvation is EVEN MORE RIDICULOUS.

I agree completely, I am also looking for a politically correct way to tell people "there is no hell and your religion is a waste of time, but thanks for the offer".
