You should go to WIC to get extra food and info on how to eat while preg....and after the baby is born, they will help provide formula and more as the baby gets older. You can also apply for medicade from your state. Most all expectant mother with no insurance will quailify for state insurance.

You have and will get an ear bashing from any tax payer due to your irresponsible actions.

Not only have you ruined your life but also that of your partner. You are both too young and irresponsible to even consider bringing a child into the world. What kind of Mother would turn away her pregnant Daughter. I don't know what your background is but you cannot expect sympathy but you can visit your JobCentre Plus who will advise or direct you to any benefit that you may be entitled to. You have to ask the questions because they will not be forthcoming with information. Good Luck really you are going to need it and get yourself an education so that you can get a better job after the birth and support yourself and your child.

To all the people that have had a go give the girl a break. We don't know the full circumstances behind this. It could have been unprotected sex but it is also still possible to get pregnant on the pill and condoms have been known to split!
In answer to your question you are best to go and speak to social services or to Citizen advice. The council will house you eventually but you are likely to get put into temporary accommodation first which can be unpleasant. My sister, her husband and 1 year old baby lived in one room for a year after they were made homeless.
Good luck!

How can you be full time waitressing but not get many hours ?? You either are full time or you arent. You dont say which country you are in. If you're in the UK I dont know what help you'll get but you will get slated for being yet another teenage statistic trying to live off the state. Sorry but thats the truth - people are fed up with it. Did it not occur to you what coud happen if you had unprotected sex. Most sensible people make sure they have a stable environment for a baby BEFORE the event. xx

It depends on your state. 17 is a tricky age. If you are considered a legal adult in your state your mom can put you out. Some stated offer pregnancy disability but it isn'y alot and you don't get that until you are 4 weeks from your due date. Also, check your state for FMLA. (Family Medical Leave Act) But really, your mom doesn't have to give you squat.
Good Luck!

As far as I'm concerned you were entitled to have half a brain and a knowledge of the concept of contraception before you got pregnant and decided you were entitled to anything other than a slap for being stupid.

If your partner has a apartment or some place for you to stay, stay with him. Get help from wic and some places like that. Good luck and i am sorry your mom is not willing to help you!!

I'd love to give you some good advice here, but I really am just picturing you as a burberry wearing waste of space who is going to end up spending the money that the government steal from me. Was a condom too difficult for you to figure out? A pill to difficult to take? Seriously, you people piss me off.

(Sorry if none of the above actually applies to you, but I've had a bad day.)

nothing until the baby is born i think. you can probably get Child Benefit and Working Tax Credit/Child Tax Credit depending on how much you earn. Give them a phone and find out.

Really, if you are old enough to get yourself pregnant then you are old enough to take responsibility for your own life.

Shame you don't appear to have heard of contraception.
