Some Christians feel the need to follow their teachings. These teachings branch from the words transcribed into the "Bible". Not all Christians feel this need. Alot of the ones who do so are new found Christians, and want to share what they have found in God. They have yet to learn that this often pushes people further from, their beliefs. The best way for this to happen is to be a silent Christian and only offer their goodness and allow others to watch thier prosperity. Alot of times they turn into hypocrites by not walking and talking the same path. Hope I've helped!!!Bye

Actually those in the non-religious world thinks that some Christians are pushing their beliefs on them. In other cases this is entirely true, even to other Christians, they will try to push their agenda.

You have a right to believe or not to believe, we as Christians pray that you will take the heavenly course rather than the alternative one. That is left up to you. There are zealous Christians just like in the Bible days there were zealous Jews, they were called Pharisees

Jesus called them Hippocrates. Some of us Christians are that way. Yet we are told in the Bible to spread the word of God to all peoples and all nations. Does that include you? Yes. But they should go at it in a less dogmatic manner if they want to get the messege across.

Because as a Christian, we are supposed to share our beliefs and we are supposed to lead others to Christ. As a Christian, it is often hard to minister to those around us but the Bible says that we should do so.. I have ministered to people but I don't ever start out with that "do you know Jesus" line.. to me.. that's just leading you to a brick wall.. I will however tell people about how God brought me through certain situations. No one likes to be TOLD what to do- but its been my experience that "Older" Christians will be the first ones to ram Jesus down someone's closed throat. I would rather tell you the goodness of the Lord and what he is capable of than try to make you convert -especially out of fear! Everything you do and everything you see has happened for a reason.. you didn't do it yourself.. ever wonder WHY?

What do you mean by "push?" Are you implying the use of force or are you talking about pushing something in the context of trying to sell something?

God has taught us that we must give the truth of the Gospel to the world. We do not use physical force as I doubt you or any of your friends have been abducted by a church and had a gun put to your head to admit Jesus is the Christ.

If youre accusing us of selling religion that is a good thing because Jesus told us to offer it to all. And the great thing is, Gods grace is FREE. NO CHARGE!!!!

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." -Matthew 28:19

Because if you had a belief that other people would go to hell unless you tried to help them you would also be motivated to try and "save " them. Unfortunately it doesn't work this way. People are not responsible for others salvation. I believe if you try and ram your religion down someones throat your not going to get anywhere

U cant' be a christian without talking to others about Jesus Christ and the good news of the kingdom. However, he told his followers to shake the dust off their feet and take their leave when people did not receive them. Matthew 10 ; 14 and 28; 19- 20

It's because they feel responsible for "saving" people from a form of eternal evil when they die. Their belief is that anyone who does not see Jesus as Lord is going to suffer that fate, so they force their faith on them in an attempt to prevent that from happening.

because their non-existant fictional charachter in the sky tells them to do that, Sadly enough they won't understand that we think it's a non-existant fictional character in the sky telling them that, they think that we know they are commanded to do so by an existing God.
The above sentence is just to show that it'll never work between believers and non-believers :)

While some Christians feel the call to preach to others about their faith in Jesus Christ by encountering them in a forceful way I who am a Christian also believe that when God' Holy Spirit shows me that a certain person is OPEN to a discussing about Jesus Christ than it is more profitable than approaching them in a forceful manner.
