I don't know about that, but I heard that it makes hair less frizzy. I don't know where to find just coconut oil. I've looked for it in normal places like wal-mart and walgreens and sally beauty supply. I can't find any.

well yeah coconut oil is quite common even here in pakistan and many people recommend it for stronger hair..

though i havent seen some remarkable resultS: one of my uncles used it real frequently when he sensed his hair were thinning.. made no difference.. he quit using it and now he has quite a significant bald patch..

albiet i still hear many recommend it as a hair strengthening agent
