Tough one, in a situation like this you have to be really carefull and try and find out how she feels about you. If you tell her and she doesn't have the same feelings you risk losing the friendship. We need more info!! Gimme the dirt =)

Well after six years she is only going to see you as a friend...so its best you dont go there. She might be your dream girl but if you were her dream guy, and there the whole time, well she would have said something. She likely knows how you feel about her and thinks that you never had the balls to tell her that you felt that way, therefore you don't look like much of a man to her about now. You are deeply entrenched in the "friend zone" and will not be advancing to the "lover zone" Sorry bro...

This is so sweet. The most important thing is that you do it in private, and also, Don't Expect Anything From Her. Just Present it To Her As A Fact, like, With the Assurance that no Matter What, You'll Always be Her Friend. And then, have an exit plan, with alternatives: something to do together, or a small gift and an appointment you have to go to immediately so she can quietly ponder what you just said.

Tell her exactly that. If you're nervous to tell her in person, then write her a note/e-mail. Don't tell her over the phone, at least with a note/e-mail it's a little romantic. I love it when my boyfriend leaves me little notes and e-mails.

My boyfriend and I were best friends all through high school, and then on our senior prom night, he told me that he'd been in love with me for the past four years. We've been together ever since.

Hopefully this helps!! Good luck!

Maybe she has the same feelings... Watch her body language and maybe try to hold her hand or something suttle... If she doesnt feel the same way she will understand...Your friends right?

she already knows. thats why you're friends to begin with, because you liked her, and she didnt like you back, so you fell to friend status.
