i'm trying to make it easy for my family to get off the plane and get to the rental car without having to all hop on a shuttle to a separate area. can you tell me if any rental car companies are inside the terminal or if you have to take a shuttle to all of them. thanks!

they would have to take a shuttle to the rental companies, but inside the baggage claim terminal there are 4 or 5 different rental car companies they could choose from and there are phones there for customer service also. once they decide on which rental company they want to go w/then they need to go out and across the street where the shuttle comes to pick them up. there are signs according to their rental company pick-up areas. hope this helps and they have a pleasant trip to hawaii, aloha!

Most are about half a mile outside of the terminal. You can have just have one family member catch the shuttle and then pick them up. They could walk I think but they would have to walk through a few parking lots.
