Some of the more progressive churches are wanting to adopt more "inclusive" language in their liturgies and hymns. I know of several churches, more mainstream than you might expect, that have removed what they consider to be gender-biased language. For instance, I recently heard the phrase "Father/Mother God" uttered in a prayer by a minister. Also, many more churches are accepting women as religious leaders.

As must be obtrusive, a minimum of one reaction became made by technique of a non-atheist. The respondent is a participant who might want to be particularly challenged by technique of the thoughts of atheism, or, more effective extensively, "loose wondering." yet the guy seems to present as an atheist. chance is, the developed atheist will assert own understand for someone who obviously has chosen a faith depending outlook, yet will be a lot less prepared to understand the beliefs. and absolutely, no actual atheist might want to strengthen the theory that Christians are idiots, because the evidence is that many Christians are very bright human beings, and atheists insist on files. be conscious nicely WHO solutions, and how they answer. in case you spot evidence of purpose to abuse, vilify, or verbally attack the guy who posed the question, chance is nice that the respondent isn't an atheist, yet in basic terms a pretender. i'm grateful for this question, that can help you both believers and non-believers address who's credible, and who isn't. keep on.

Go to any Christian denomination church in the country...women out number men usually 2 to 1. So is feminist thought creeping in...or is it filling the void left by the absence of men?

I seem to have to point out that todays Christianity is based
on the interpretations of men. Despite all this lambasting
against the Catholic faith, they are the First established
Christian religion, and have placed the Virgin Mary on a very high
status within the Church.
This is because humans have had many visions of the Virgin Mary. Therfore, I would think our Creator wants us to respect
women and the feminine principle of Creation.

People are certainly re-evaluating the role of women in the church. My church already ordains female priests, but many churches don't have them. Personally, I'm glad to see women taking larger roles in the clergy, after having been treated like third-rate players for so many years. I'm all for advancing the status of women in the church. We're no longer relegated simply to decorating the altar or working in the church nursery, and that's great.

Radical Feminism has had no affect on the Catholic Church and never will. True love for womankind has always been a part of the Church.

I couldn't say, because I'm no longer christian. It would be nice to think it's creeping in, but I have grave doubts....
As for zenbuddha, I respectfully answer that putting Mary - a DEAD woman - on a pedestal doesn't mean squat. Catholics revere all kinds of female saints, it's true. But they're all DEAD.

unfortunatly women who claim to be christian have been influenced by feminism. The dump their kids at daycare centers and work full time to find themselves. As a result children raised in christian homes are turning out as bad as the non christian ones.

Yes, your right it has. It's sad but true. Like women wanting to be pastors etc. it's not in God's plan and It will not work out for the best. Women should be happy about the role God has put them in and thankful that the Lord knows whats best.
Thank you for your question

Been around for, oh, I'd say, 50 years or so...
Note the statistical decline of families, increased crime rate & larger welfare rolls (till 96).
