Will Smith best characterized it right before he got fired in the beginning of "enemy of the state." Do you ever have homosexual feelings?
The answer Im sure for most people is yes. Why do we? The same reason we get the urge to steal something, wishing someone were dead, wanting to kill someone, etc. Visualizing things we think we would never do is part of the human condition. I would never do anything to hurt my daughters but after hearing about mothers drowning their kids in the bathtub and having abortions my mind took over and visualized myself doing the same thing. I felt disgusted like I wanted to throw up and that general dirty feeling same as if I try to imagine having sex with other men.
Now actual murderers and homosexuals take it to the next level; actually committing the deed. Not only have they thought about, not only was it in their subconcious, but they actually found themselves doing it!
As humans we always have the inclination to go against Gods will sinning and do what ought not be done. How we deal with our innermost evil thoughts and what we do with them is what that defines us as human beings and our attitude toward God.

Of course, some people have these thoughts and desires.
We are only human. It is what we do with these thoughts and desires that defines who we are!! Don't you agree?
Those that dwell on these thoughts and desires, such desires and urges, will be brought out in the open. They may talk about them alot with others and may act upon them.
(No judgements intended as I say this).
Some boys and girls, and men and women are Homosexual because they have these thoughts, desire, and urges that drive them to be who they are. It is who they are, and they should not be judged for who they are, or treated like they are a disease.
And some Heterosexuals have had, and may continue to occasionally have such thoughts, and remain Heterosexual. We are all Human.
All people, Homosexual or not, religious or not, and no matter what they're culture or color is should be loved, and accepted for who they are.

Depends on how strictly you want to define the word "Heterosexual."
See, according to the Kinsey Scale, people range from 0 (exclusively hetero) to 6 (totally homosexual.) Only about twenty percent of the population are one or the other, split about equally, with ten percent at either pole. The rest of us fall somewhere in the middle, with occasional attractions that violate what we would usually think of as our "sexual identity."
So your friend is probably a one or a two on the scale.

I have never had any homosexual thoughts or desires for a woman. I can certainly appreciate a beautiful woman, but for sex, they just don't "do it" for me. Maybe, I am just a little too straight. I am not interested in a threesome or swingers. With one man, I have no inhibitions but I only want one on one.

I am a heterosexual male who recently had the desire to decorate my living room. Does that count?

I've never had romantic or sexual attraction to another woman.
I'd say that whoever made that comment was under the impression that homosexual desires are innate, and cannot be controlled.

Sure, the line drawn between homo- and hetero-sexual has been drawn by society. Stop serving the system, think for your self. If you have sexual thoughts and desires toward anyone, I would tell you to see where it leads, only then can you know.

When one feels a true spiritual love for someone, it will create
a powerful energy in them that will cause the body to react
physically. This will of course give one thoughts as to what
is going on.
Not being gay, I find it difficult to grasp what being gay is all
about. But if one doesn't feel this is them, they shouldn't worry about it.

The human being is a complex organism. Anything is possible.
The idea of human sexuality as a spectrum rather than black/white is not a new one. Professor Kinsey wrote a lot about it.
