Well, I've actually sat down at lunch with Christians quite a bit, because my family is all Christians, and most people where I've worked were as well. Usually, we just talk about anything that comes to mind, and share our dessert. lol.

Btw, I know what you're driving at. I can read between the lines. There is nothing in the Quran that says we can't be nice to each other, even sit down to a meal together. As long as it complies with our religious guidelines of not eating pork, then it's fine.

where do u people live?? id like to know. In my world 1000s of muslims, christians, hindus, jews etc interact with each other every day. No wonder ur views of the different religions comply to what u read and hear, and not to what u know!!

lol, the truth is that they mite debate about how hungry they really are, should we go to a halaal venue, so that we can eat properly or do we just want coffee?? and then they talk about anything from fashion to politics to how much crap the media feeds us to maddona and malawi which will lead to contemplating the adoption of a child, as apposed to going through childbirth, to commenting on the food....

Christ, the son of Mary, was no more than a Messenger; many were the Messengers that passed away before him. His mother was a woman of truth. They had both to eat their (daily) food. See how Allah doth make His Signs clear to them; yet see in what ways they are deluded away from the truth!

Can you define the questions? If you mean do we have to say anything to non-Muslims when we eat with them, nothing in particular. We are to have a polite conversation. We can joke (clean ones) we should not talk about others in their absence.

"Say: we believe in God and in what has been revealed to us, and what was revealed to Abraham, Isma'il: Isaac, Jacob and The Tribes, and in (the Books) given to Moses, Jesus and the Prophets, from their Lord: We make no distinction between one and another, among them, and to God do we bow our will (in Islam)."
