"it is easier to love humanity as a whole than to love one's neighbour"
'a open mind is all very well in its way,but it ought not to be so open that there is no keeping anything in or out of it. it should be capable of shutting its doors sometimes,or it may be found a little draughty."

Some lessons in logic...
â¼ I was born intelligent - education ruined me.
â¼ Practice makes perfect... but nobody's perfect... so why practice?
â¼ If it's true that we are here to help others, then what exactly are the others here for?
â¼Since light travels faster than sound, people appear bright until you hear them speak.
â¼How come "abbreviated" is such a long word?
â¼Money is not everything. There's MasterCard & Visa.
â¼Every man should marry. After all, happiness is not the only thing
in life.
â¼The wise never marry; and when they marry they become otherwise.
â¼Success is a relative term. It brings so many relatives.
â¼Never put off the work till tomorrow what you can put off today.
â¼"Your future depends on your dreams". So go to sleep.
â¼There should be a better way to start a day than waking up every morning.
â¼"Hard work never killed anybody" but why take the risk?
â¼"Work fascinates me" - I can look at it for hours!
â¼God made relatives; thank God we can choose our friends.
â¼The more you learn, the more you know; the more you know, the more
you forget; the more you forget, the less you know; so.. why learn.

Here's some. Dont know how helpful they will be though....
The spider's touch, how exquisitely fine! Feels at each thread, and lives along the line.
Being on the tightrope is living; everything else is waiting.
There is a great deal of unmapped country within us which would have to be taken into account in an explanation of our gusts and storms.
Beware lest you lose the substance by grasping at the shadow.
Perhaps all the dragons in our lives are princesses who are only waiting to see us act, just once, with beauty and courage. Perhaps everything that frightens us is, in its deepest essence, something helpless that wants our love.
Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising up every time we fail.
The heights by great men reached and kept were not obtained by sudden flight. But they, while their companions slept, were toiling upward in the night.
There are moments in life when you miss someone so much that you just want to pick them from your dreams and hug them for real!
When the door of happiness closes, another opens; but oft times we look so long at the closed door that we don't see the one, which has been opened for us.
Don't go for looks; they can deceive. Don't go for wealth; even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile, because it takes only a smile to
make a dark day seem bright. Find the one that makes your heart smile.
Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do.
May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human and enough hope to make you happy.
The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.
The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past; you can't go forward in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches.
When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying.
Don't count the years - count the memories!
Anyone who keeps the ability to see beauty never grows old.
The ability to see beauty is the beginning of our moral sensibility. What we believe is beautiful we will not wantonly destroy.

I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure--which is:
Try to please everybody.
Herbert Bayard Swope
Success is the good fortune that comes from aspiration, desperation, perspiration and inspiration.
Evan Esar
Only as high as I reach can I grow,
Only as far as I seek can I go,
Only as deep as I look can I see,

The beginning of love is to let those we love be perfectly themselves, and not to twist them to fit our own image. Otherwise we love only the reflection of ourselves we find in them.

It is love ..it is love that makes the world go round.

Charm... I'ts a sort of bloom on a woman. If you have it, you don't need to have anything else; and if you don't have it, it doesn't much matter what else you have. J.M. Barrie 1860-1937.
