THE DOGS BREED DOEN'T MATTER. GENERALLY SPEAKING, DOGS ARE PRETTY MUCH AT THEIR FULL OUTSIDE GROWTH BY THE TIME THE'RE 1 YR. BUT THEIR INSIDES KEEP MATURING FOR ABOUT ANOTHER 6 MONTHS TO A YR. I THINK THEIR ENVIRONMENT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH IT TOO. I GOT MY MALAMUTE / WOLF X WHEN HE WAS ABOUT 6 MTHS. HE CAME WITH A CAGE THAT HE LOVED (HE HAS TO BE CAGED WHEN WE CAN'T WATCH HIM BECAUSE OF THE 2 CATS). AFTER HIS FIRST B-DAY, THINKING HE WAS DONE GROWING, I GOT HIM A BIGGER CAGE ( LARGEST ON THE MARKET FOR INDOOR USE). HE GREW ALOT MORE. HE'S NOW ALMOST 3YRS., AND STANDS ABOUT 6 FT ON HIS HIND LEGS. AND AFTER TALKING TO A BREEDER I FOUND OUT HE WON'T FINISH FILLING OUT UNTIL HE'S ABOUT 5. HE SHOULD TOP OUT AT ABOUT 150-160 LBS. HE'S ONLY AT ABOUT 110 RIGHT NOW.
