AIDS originated in Africa. It is believed that it was contracted from a monkey.

Presumably Africa. It is a mutant virus from monkeys. Maybe it came from a bite. They don't know for sure. If you read the book "And The Band Played On," they say it was first traced to a homosexual flight attendant from Canada in the 1970's.

We're pretty sure it originated in Africa. We aren't 100% sure but it is widely accepted taht someone was carving an ape for dinner and cut their hand in the process. The ape's blood got into the person's blood which gave the person AIDS.

It is believe to have comed from Sub Saharan Africa. The HIV virus is thought to have originate in primates in the form of a bite or eating contaminated monkeys. It then was transmitted by people who had multiple sex partners or lead a homosexual life style which normally involves multiple sex partners.

It has been theorized that AIDS was first contracted from sexual relations with a baboon in Indonesia.
Baboons are caught, shaved and given make up. Then they are sold as cheap prostitutes in the backalleys of some Asian countries.
So, remember, before having sex with a baboon, put on a condom.

Africa. But there are highly classifiyed theories that it was genetical enginerred, and created to take life for African Resources. The theory states that it was planted in Africa, so that when oil, water and other precious resources like diamonds are needed, it would be easier to control with a smaller population. Then it spread.

The real answer is.....In africa by the natives eating monkey...aids virus is prevelant in monkeys, and if the food is not thoroughly cooked, the virus can be transmitted....
