Yes, and it will need to be notorized. She will need her own passport as well. Some countries will require it (the letter), some dont even check. But now that kidnapping is so common in many countries, its always good to CYA. yea i know from expericance because my mother had to get conscent everytime we fly anywhere out of the country, and if he choses not to give conscent you can go to a judge, but that takes time and in some cases even money
