Here some details about me,im 18 years old and I was thinking about cutting my hair short,my hair is really long right now its far down on my waist..Should i cut it short?It just takes so long to maintain it and keep it looking shiny and healthy.

I had hair down to my lower back last year and I cut it off to my shoulders. Probably the best move I ever made. I found my hair was just getting way too in the way and was embarrassingly unhealthy. I was sad at first, but then I decided to rock it, and Im still getting compliments on it now. Go for it, hair always grows back

Maybe you shouldn't cut it too short all at once. If it's far down your waste, maybe you should go shoulder length first before you go any shorter, this way you can get used to it and will have no regrets.

I cut mine after the Goody company started only selling "ouchless" hair ties which are total junk. Short hair takes less time and worry, no more tangles, less hair care products (which means less $$$). Go for it, just remember if you don't like it you can always get a really nice wig ;)

Down to your waist? For a girl long hair is nice, but for a guy it is down right disgusting.

no you should cut it for it falls about 5-6 inches past ur sholders thats how i had mine but i cut it so its now 3-4 inches past mine cuz of dammaged hair. yea cut it, it wont take as much of your time to maintaine.

you but if you cut it then if you have it made into a style you have to fuss with all the time you could grow tired of it anyway most people rather see you more natural maybe cut it shorter but not in any style

I don't think you should make such a drastic change.. maybe cut off about 7 inches first and see how u feel about that..

I say no also cause your going to regret it eventually, I regret it and now am trying to grow it back long and it's taking forever.

once u cut it u will regret it. u will spend all night crying. just cut it to the bottom of your back.

NNNNOOOOOOO!!!!! oh my gosh...IGNORE these ppl...i had long curly hair and I stupidly cut it and REGRET it so much!!!! long hair is soooo pretty and yours sounds so nice...trust me...leave it alone!!
