Ok, lets assume you are in Radlett, on the A5 (Watling Street), thats the main road through radlett. Go towards LONDON (as you say, you are going from watford>bricket wood... you hit the A5 at Radlett, turn RIGHT in the direction of LONDON. As you are going, you will see a nice pub (name ???) on the LEFT. Keep on going, to ALUM LANE, TURN LEFT. This will lead you to BOREHAMWOOD STATION. You are now at the end of the main road in BOREHAMWOOD, you have arrived.

hi,
i've just looked on the AA website. i think i've done these right for you.
i've gone from Watford to Borehamwood, via Bricket Wood and Radlett but I've also clicked the button that says avoid motorways, so it says it'll take 55 minutes to do a 12.7 mile trip!
Heres the link anyway.
Good Luck tomorrow!

You need the A5183 out of Radlett - it's only about 3½ miles. Try the AA routeplanner.
Anyway, I thought there was no fire station in Radlett any more - wasn't it closed down?

OK, easy one. Phone up Radlett fire station and report a fire in Borehamwood, then just follow the pretty lights and sirens.

try www.theaa.com. Their directions are usually clear, and get you where you want to go. You can specify no motorways, or via specific places.
