It relies upon on your aspect of health, yet a 12 to 14 minute mile (38 to 40 9 minutes for 3-a million/2 miles) is walking very straight away and also you may want to get some cardiovascular income from it. For weight-loss walking, a 15 to 17 minute mile is high quality, it really is fifty 2 to 60 minutes.

Just over 5 minutes. It takes me between 15 and 20 minutes to walk a mile and a half - and that's with a dodgy knee

Average is 3 miles per hour. That's one mile in 20 minutes, half a mile in ten minutes.

Depends what you call average! It would take me about ten minutes, and I don't walk that fast, but if I use the tfl (transport for london) website, I always reset the walking speed to fast, as they seem to think it takes 15 minutes to walk a half mile.
