Has anyone tried using Cetaphil for lice? http://nuvoforheadlice.com/

Did it work? All I can find on the web is about the ethics of the doctor who did the study.

I dont know about cetaphil....I used RID on my kids when they were little and got it......Also if you dye your hair that will kill the little buggers.....the ammonia in the dye will kill them and their eggs. You can also slather your head with mayo or petroleum jelly and leave it in for an hour and that will smother them.....

I have never heard of that method but one we have tried is soaking hair with olive oil and covering it with GLAD bowl covers. They are the plastic bag kind that you use to cover up a dish of food instead of using an actual lid. Leave the oil sit in overnight then wash out in the morning. The oil smothers the lice so they can"t breathe. Repeat this method every second day to kill more live ones. Hope it works for you!

I don't believe I've ever tried Ceptaphil before, but I can promise one thing that will work. It may sound drastic but it beats having to deal with these little suckers over and over. go to dollar store and get a permanent hair color dye(more than likely you can get your same hair color as your own) It kills lice and eggs and you don't have to worry about getting them again for along time.
Anytime someone has hair chemicals (permanent color or bleach) on their hair head lice won't come in contact with your hair. It has worked for several people and for several years..

I've never heard of this "method." Believe me, if you follow the directions and disinfect EVERYTHING you should, you will get rid of them:
