Being rape is a very horrible thing for anybody to go through. The after effects include doubt, low selfestemm, depression, ect. This is a time when families and friends need to step up and offer support. Those who do not do that are not your friends. The very fact she is "makeing" up statements and claiming others will get raped for listening to you means you don't need her in your life. It will take time and theropy for you to get over this situation. In the mean time I'd stop hanging out with that friend and stick around those who do support you.

I'm really sorry you had to go through such an ordeal. Rape is a very serious and awful thing to endure and it will take a long time to get over. I suggest you go to you GP and ask about counselling help available. I think its important to talk these things through so you can come to terms with whats happened and how it makes you feel. If you don't deal with this now it will only come back to haunt you later believe me.
As for the friend situation, I would forget about her - she obviously cares nothing about the friendship to be stirring things up for you at such a difficult time in your life. At least you can see her true colours now, so try not to let her get to you. You need REAL friends now not trouble makers!

Have you been for rape counseling? you need to, so you can know, that it was not your fault. Don't worry about what your friends say, they do not know what you have been through. You just hang in their. When you are around your friends, just don't say anything about the rape. But please you do need to talk about it, and the best way, is to go for counseling, and talking to people who can help you deal with the situation!

i would try seeing the school shrink, Or call a telephone hotline. If you where a victom don't be made sad by others makgin fun of yor situation. they are just trying to be cool. Get new friends if this needs be the case, request a change in schools if thats possible. I would call a hotline like I said or get a counselor involved. I knwo most people don't like talking about it, But it will help.

There's an old saying: prosperity makes friends; adversity trys them. you can deal with your "friends" by understanding that their interests may lie in areas other than you. As for dealing with the aftermath of rape, try therapy, or counseling. Talking with someone who works with this kind of thing will be more help than I can offer.

You need to get into therapy to help you deal with what has happened to you and you need to dump that gal that you are calling a friend. SHE IS NOT A FRIEND!
