K, well, I'm not a teen (23), but the girls are right about one thing.. teenagers have a faster metabolism at that age. As you age and get older, your metabolism slows down. Also, teenage girls are not fully mature at that point, they're still growing, or beginning to. Some don't have the breasts or hips that a grown woman has, thus making them smaller. I wouldn't bother trying to be the size of some of those girls because it'll never happen. Even as they get older, they'll gain weight and probably will never get back to that tiny size. It's just how things are. I wouldn't focus on being tiny, but on being the fittest you can be. Being in good shape is better than being super small.

I just passed the teenage years, but let me explain something to you.
I have a high metabolism. I eat like a pig, do little and don't gain weight. Now, I know that's unhealthy, so I've started mild exercise just to not feel like a lazy weirdo. But you need ot understand everyone is different so losing weight for some is no big deal and for others is a life long battle. Some girls do lose weight with crazy binge diets and exercise, but that's not the healthy way to go. Some girls diet and exercise every single day of their life to stay thin. If you want to lose weight, my only suggestion is to find something that works for you and have someone encourage you.

younger womens metabolisms are higher than older womens. same goes to men.
im 19 and my college psycology teacher said that if all the women in the room ate and were active the same for the next 10 years we would gain weight, cause your metabolism slows dow.
you should just start eating your food in portions. meats the size of your open palm (from finger tips tot he base of your hand) and only handfulls of pastas and salads, snacks, ect.
and just start exercising. go swimming or do pilates or take walks int hemornings while listening to music every day =D

Just watch what your eating. I'm a vegetarian, and I don't eat meat. Just eat less junkfood and fried foods. Eat more Organic Fruits and Vegetables. The weight will come down. Oh, and have more self confidence. I don't think anybody will be looking at your but.

just eat less and excersize i'm a teenager but i'm too skinny for my age even the doctor said i'm under averge for my age i'd love to gain weight lol
