I am a Christian and when I meet with my long time friends for meals, who are Muslim, we talk about anything and everything really. Our day at work, at home, at university, what is upsetting us, what clothes we bought, our families, likes and dislikes, funny things that have happened to us, life, what films we saw or are planning to see! Our fears, our hopes or just someone to talk to! Anything really.

Christian will say to the Muslim: Look friend forget about doing things which have nothing to do with truth. What we have been doing for 2006 years and you are doing for the last 1400 years (Till Now) has nothing to do anything with the reality. Lets shake hand and take religion not so serious as you are taking it. Dont kill each other for your religion , don't kill others for your religion. Its nothing so serious. Just take it easy. As we are doing. Think about Science, about yourself about scientific progress. Please Don't kill we are fed up with it, you will be fed up soon.

Someone I knew did this over coffee. The Christian asked "I wonder what it would be like in heaven".

This started off a wonderful conversation as they both believe in the existence of heaven.

Not sure whether either changed opinions but the thought of it is nice to see

Well, there's not much to be scared of. Dinner is dinner, talk about the usual...and maybe u should ask each other about the differences of your religions...that might spark a conversation..nothing's better than learning something new!!

Be very careful if you make a woman
cry, because God counts her tears. The woman
came out of a man's rib. Not from his feet to be
walked on. Not from his head to be superior, but
from the side to be equal. Under the arm to be
protected, and next to the heart to be loved." stop treating your women like dirt

No different to anyone else. Possibly discus the events of the day, the news and so forth. Watch a bit of football maybe, or a DVD.

Jesus told the story of the good Samaritan. I think he was talking about Muslims in this parable about loving those who we are led to believe are our enemies!

Hopefully the same things other normal people do. Eating meals together is a powerful way of crossing any gap.

An agenda will have been prepared long before the meeting. So they will go through whatever will be on the agenda.
