What kind of light is needed by most plants? if the type of light needed varies then specify for which plants?

i need to find out what light plants need to grow? do they need sunlight or like light from a lamp n if it dependz on da kind of plant then please let me know for which plants is each type of ight needed? thanks i really appreciate it

Plants use red light and blue light. Artificial light should be "grow lights" or alternate warm light and cool light florescent tubes in your ficture. If you have understory plants, only a small amount of additional light (if any) is required. However, there are some plants that require over 1,000 umol photons/sqm/sec.
