Most definitely!! my advice to you is to stick to it because they early the better some people think you confuse children by speaking different languages but I differ...my children understand Spanish and English and my youngest speaks Spanish not fluently because she uses mostly English at school but she can speak to understand. My case I speak English, Spanish and some Portuguese so have fun and your child will love you for it in the future!
Best Regards ;p)

Actually, the best time to teach him is earlier because babies are able to distinguish between sounds better in the earlier months. The first six months of life are the time when a baby's brain is learning how to categorize sounds, and the sounds it doesn't hear early on will be difficult to pick up later in life. This is why people who learn a foreign language later in life cannot lose their accent without a lot of help. So Yes, Teach Him! Teach him all three at once as soon as you can and use native speakers to teach him, if possible. He may learn command of any one language slightly slower but you will be giving him a good head start for later in life.

Yes. The best time to teach any language is before age 5. Their minds are like sponges. Good luck.

I understand through reading that that is the optimal time to teach another language. The younger the better. I wish I had!

oh yes, you will be doing your child a favor by teaching them more than one language!

be aware that some bilingual children will mix their languages, making it difficult for a listener who only knows one of the languages, but they will grow out of it and they will truly be better off knowing more than english!

The best method is one language per person eg mom speaks english, dad speaks french. Also make sure the 'teacher' is fluent.

They say that children learn the most at younger ages so Yes I do believe that if you have one parent who speaks Spanish and one who speaks English they will probably pick up on both....
