I love cooking and I'm getting tired of makeing the same meals over and over again for my brother, step-dad, and mom. So I'm trying to find different cook books to try to get them to try something other then home made pizza. Does anyone have any suggestions?

The best all around cook book is The JOY of Cooking, famed chef Julia Child once said that if she could have only one cook book that would be it. I've had one for over 30 years.

Anything Pillsbury puts out. Rachel Ray's and Paula Deans are great. Also the Joy of Cooking Cookbook. And the Betty Crocker Cookbook.

My absolute favorite cookbook is South Beach Diet Cookbook.
The recipes that I have tried so far are really good in terms of taste. The best thing for me is that none of the recipes includes any fancy condiments that you'd only find in some super-elite department stores on the other side of town. Very handy for a health-conscious person.

Give it a try. Healthy *and* tasty recipes can't be a bad investment anyway!

I have loads of cook books from betty crocker to the joy of cooking but my favorite ones to try new recipes is the hometown cookbooks. These cookbooks are compiled of ordinary people's favorite recipes and published for fund raising.
I have bought them in churches, banks, schools etc.

"The Joy of Cooking" is the greatest cookbook ever published. I suggest you get a copy, you'll use it frequently. Aside from the thousands of recipes in it, it also contains tips on cooking techniques and explanations of everything culinary. Its been around forever, its a classic!

If you have a crock pot, there is a great book with EASY recipes. It's called "101 Things to Do With a Slow Cooker".
I love this book!
