that will be tough! many restaurants will be closed and the ones that will be open will probably be pricey!
i would call:
1. Tavern On The Green-only make reservations in the Crystal Room-great view
2. Waldorf Astoria- the buffet-make reservations-check to see if they a thanksgiving buffet
3. The Rainbow Room--need a reservation
4. The Plaza Hotel-check to see if one of there restaurants will have a Thanksgiving Lunch-need a reservation
5. P. J. Clark's-American-moderate- call to see what they will be serving
6. J.G. Melon's-American-see what they will be serving-need a reservation
7. Patsy's-Italian but might serve Thanksgiving lunch or dinner-need a reservation
8. Joe Allen's-American-moderate-might serve thanksgiving lunch or dinner-need a reservation
9. The Hyatt Regency-need a reservation
10. The Four Season's-need a reservation
11. One If By Land, Two If By Sea-American-check to see if they are serving a Thanksgiving dinner or lunch-need a reservation
12. Carmine's-Italian-if open there will be a wait-they might serve a Thanksgiving lunch or dinner-try to make a reservation

I do not know if any of these restaurants will be open. I'm sure it will not be cheap if they are but that is the way it is no matter the city.
Do not wait until the last minute to make reservations for those few who will be opened will book-up fast!
Dress Warm!!!
Enjoy and Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!

Why don't you just eat in? It's usually nicer than going to a restaurant. Go to a Dagastino NYC (It's a supermarket chain unique to NYC), and get what you need. Or a Safeway or w/e you can find!
