Train is the easiest, although the Kingston train station isn't right downtown like the Toronto one is, so you'd need about a 10 minute cab ride from there.

If you have a car: from Toronto, take the hwy 401 East straight to Kingston

If no car, the cheapest way is by Bus call Greyhound or

The GO train from Union station straight to Kingston.

the best way to travel from toronto to kingston would be to take the train...via rail.... pretty easy and less complicated than taking the bus.. or if you rent a car.. well... you can always take the 401 high way pretty straight forward.. or i can pick you up lol! kidding.. anyways.. have a good time in kingston..

I think the train, or so I have heard. I went in a scary little dash 8 once and they lost my luggage and then I went back to Toronto on a company charter bus but it was like 3 hours or so.

The least expensive way is to take a Coach Canada bus. Most expensive is taking VIA RAIL and Greyhound bus.

Coach Canada: $51.25 - one way
$90.70 - roundtrip

Via Rail- $ 78.44- one way
$156.88- Round Trip

Greyhound- $102.25- one way
$204.20- Round Trip

by car up the 401 is the fastest & cheapest. bus it if u don't have a car ..forget trains or flying...just a headache.

the train... i do it all the time... its about 2 and a half hours, there is no stopovers... so its very stress-free... hop on, hop off
