I ask this question simpy because i have done this in the past with guys and have found it tends to go all sour/downhill after.

I have been dating this guy for 3 weeks now and its going very well. We have been to the cinema, meals, pub etc and its getting to the point now where i feel there is nothing else to do, so i thought i would ask him round mine one night, get a dvd and some food BUT i have done this in the past with guys and after the relationship tends to not be as exciting, or they go all funny, its not a sexual thing, just a simple night in, does anyone have any ideas on what i could suggest we do and also is it a bad idea to be inviting my guy round?

I think its a good idea to invite him over. I don't know why the oher ones went sour. Maybe include him with the planning, ask him what movie he'd like to see and whether or not he wants to order pizza, get takeout, etc.

Well if I were you, I would not ask him around. I have always found that relationships go better when Iv allowed the guy to date me. What I mean by that, is allow him to suggest dates, ask you out, call you and basically to do all the donkey work. The reason this works for me, is that if he makes all the plans etc, then I know that he really is interested in me and interested in spending time with me. The thing is, that in a new relationship, the guy should be so keen on you, that he just wants to date you. He wants to call you and spend time with you, so he will want to make the effort. When my ex husband first asked me out, he asked me if I would go to the cinema with him. I said yes and so there and then, he looked up a film in the paper. When I asked him what he was doing, he said "I'm just arranging this now before you have a chance to change your mind" Well see that is the attitude you want. If a guy looses interest after a date at your house, then its probably because he was just not all that keen in the first place. So don't give guys a chance to make you feel rejected.. let them find a way to spend time with you.

First you should check out how this guy is?If u think that he is really nice and faithful of course, u can bring him down for a night .As a suggestive idea, I can say that u can simply start discussing of something related to love like say affairs, and then gradually give him a hint that u like him. He`ll very soon understand that(I bet u on this). Then after that , he`s u`rs!!!

What do you mean inviting him round??? Round for sex, a meal a drink or what?? If I dont understand what you mean I guess if you invite him you need to make yourself clear about what you expect from him. Otherwise he may think he's gonna get more than you want to give.

i think its a good idea just dont let things get out of hand if ur not ready. maybe make it more of a sexual thing ( not sex) but kissing and just having fun and it wouldnt go downhill after.

Invite him and see. If the others went sour then it was going to happen anyway, its just coincidence it happened then. Good luck!

It might have already gone boring for him too. Don't put him off by just repeating what you have done; ask him round yours and all will be fine.
