Penthouse. In fact, I'd rather live in an average-sized condo than a penthouse. Mansions are too hard to keep up, and a penthouse would make me feel like a total Republican.

Gothic castle, because it would be in the country where you could get away from everything, i love the look of them they just look amazing. They can be very romantic as well, plus penthouses are usually in the hustle and bustle of the city i'd rather be in the country.

Well, the romantic side of me says the castle. However, the practical side of me says the penthouse. Castles sound really romantic and wonderful but in reality most of them are old and cold and damp.

definitely the gothic castle/mansion with lots of secret passages and history. I don't really want a ghost clanking chains, but I suppose it might come with the territory.
