There should be a phone number for filing a complaint against a parole officer - the other posters are blowing smoke (maybe the one or two who posted before me - not everyone else) - only a crooked parole officer would revoke someone's parole based on a complaint. Call the main office of your state's parole and probation (or department of corrections) office and ask for someone who can listen to your complaint.

Make sure that it is a legitimate complaint before you do. Parole Officers are considered to be at the bottom of the totem pole in the criminal justice system but they hold a very considerable amount of power.

Judges, prosecutors and correction officials consider the word of the parole officer very strongly. If a Parole Officer says to send you to prison, you will go. I used to be a cop I have seen it happen a lot.

You could talk to the supervisor, or write to the court. I will say this...people complain about parole officers all the time...and supervisors usually back us up b/c 90% of parole officers have good reason for their actions. If there was a hold, there was probably good reason for it. We don't have to tell you everything. For instance, if someone has an open warrant and they ask me "do i have any warrants", I don't tell them. I invite them right into my office so they can get picked up for it. If I told them they had open warrants I'd never see them again!

If you do file a formal complaint, make sure you have all of your facts straight before you do so, and that you have good cause to complain. Parole/Probation officers jobs are strongly protected.

Also, you're not going to get sent back to jail for complaining about your PO. People get pissed at me all the time, but I don't send them back to jail for it.

Call the parole board itself perhaps others have complained about the officer.

Aslso try the CCRB - Civilian Complaint Review Board in your State.

stable success. Parole/Probation officers carry to a strict code of vigilance, ethics, and integrity. He in all likelihood merits to have his parole revoked. the parole officer isn;t going to make some thing up and rick his job and attractiveness on your husband. C'mon, think of roughly it lady.

Talk to the clerk at the court that originally handled your case. Tell them what happened and why you would like to be transfered to another parole officers. They should be able to point you in the right direction.

Go to the p.o.'s supervisor. When you complain against anyone involved in the Department of Corrections at any level, you're facing a lose-lose situation. And if you are trying to defend yourself or someone else, they'll just make it more difficult on you. I'm not saying, don't do it, just telling you like it is.

You can complain, but don't. Not yet. Just document everything and file your complaint _after_ you are free and clear.
Don't forget, your PO can send you back just 'cause.

Talk to the court system, if you get no results, contact the state's attorney general.
