As a Christian, I want the whole world to know the Truth.
Jesus is the Truth and the only Way to the Father.
Jesus is our Lord, our Savior, our God.
But the JWs want you to believe otherwise. Their main false teaching is the Jesus is not God.
Under the guise of Christianity, they are taking many, many Christians away from Jesus.
What are you doing to stop them?
I pray for them. What about you?

Christians don't have different beliefs about Jesus.
A Christian proclaims that Jesus is Lord (i.e. God)!!

"In which case - don't they have the same right to spread their message as you do to spread yours? Let the market place decide who gets the most business. This is American."
If Christians have a right to spread the Truth then:
Why is it illegal to talk about Jesus in a public school.
Why do so many stores prevent their employees from saying "Merry Christmas"?

"Protestants, what are you doing to stop the catholics from spreading lies about christianity? Proclaim the message of sola scriptura and redeem your souls! bigot"
YOU really consider yourself a Christian??
God help us.
As for your false doctrine:
"sola sciptura" is an unbiblical man-made teaching that no one heard about before Martin Luther.
"sola sciptura" is not in the Scriptura.

The JW version of the Bible called the "New World Translation" (NWT).
The NWT has been changed time and time again to fit their teachings.
If you have one of those translations... be aware that it has been changed MANY MANY times.

"And, btw, sola scriptura was a CONCEPT developed by martin luther - everyone knows that."
"CONCEPT" ??
You can have your man-made "concept"...I think I will stick to the Truth.

I personally contribute to the cause by answering the door, inviting them in and letting them attempt to bring the truth to me; this prevents them from spending at least that much time going about potentially encountering another who is not as strong as I and who might fall for it...

I assume that you also believe that the other God's People, the Jews, don't have different beliefs as regards God, so how do you then explain Jesus and his Apostles teaching something different than thousands of years of accepted beliefs?
Quote from above:
"As a Christian, I want the whole world to know the Truth.
Jesus is the Truth and the only Way to the Father.
Jesus is our Lord, our Savior, our God."
**************************************
Sounds like you want to be a Jehovah's Witness, as they do this more than any other religion.
Since you like dealing in threes, consider this. Three represents perfection.
The Jews were the first recognized People of God, but they soon began falling away from his teachings, thus Christ came the first time.
Christians were the second recognized People of God, but they soon began falling away, as noted by the Apostle Paul, thus Christ came the Second Time.
Who is now the third (perfection) recognized People of God? Or, do you, like the ancient Jews, believe that the Messiah has not come, despite the fulfillment of prophesies.
If you are correct in believing that he has not returned a second time, than perhaps the Jews were also right about the first time.
Sorry, I neglected quoting anything from any Watchtower publications.

Okay, you're going to be offensive to a people's belief, i shall be offensive to yours. Protestants, what are you doing to stop the catholics from spreading lies about christianity? Proclaim the message of sola scriptura and redeem your souls!
bigot
I love how when you quoted me, you didn't quote my first sentence, then took apart the rest of what i said completely out of context. You really are a true catholic (no sarcasm). And, btw, sola scriptura was a CONCEPT developed by martin luther - everyone knows that - it's not gospel and was never intended to be, but rather a means of interpreting tradition vs interpreting doctrine. Get it straight before you debate.
Again, you took what i said out of context. No one ever intended martin luther's ideas to become the dogma of christianity (himself included). It's a way of practicing faith that is not in the scriptures, but, then again, neither is confirmation. Everyone practices in their own way - please let them

I'm certain that whatever 'proof' you can provide to establish that Jesus was (and still is) God. The JW can prove equal 'proof' that he was not and is not!!
One thing is for sure, they respect Jesus as a Prophet, the Muslims also respect Jesus as a Prophet!
As you may be aware I am not religious at all. I have read the bible and many other 'Holy' books, but the New Testament bible is just about the most unbelieable of the lot! It started with about 30 Gospel writers and has now whittled its way down to what? 4??
Why is that ?? didnt the editors of the day agree, and we all know Mathew Mark Luke and John certainly did not write any Gospels at all, dont we??????
Or dont you Christians belive that either??

You need to read your own publications:
The New Catholic Encyclopedia states: “The formulation ‘one God in three Persons’ was not solidly established, certainly not fully assimilated into Christian life and its profession of faith, prior to the end of the 4th century. But it is precisely this formulation that has first claim to the title the Trinitarian dogma. Among the Apostolic Fathers, there had been nothing even remotely approaching such a mentality or perspective.”—(1967), Vol. XIV, p. 299.
Your own publication says the trinity was't even remotely taught by Jesus and the Apostolic Fathers.
Do you know that if you read your own publications and stopped when it started say "but do to church tradition" your church would believe as Jehovah's Witnesses do.

The eagerly anticipated website "Six Screens of the Watchtower" will be released shortly. This website's intent is to help innocent Jehovah's Witnesses see that their loyalty isn't to Jehovah but to the Watchtower Society. It will prove through their own publications that the Society's teachings are not only false, but dangerous. Don't worry. There are thousands of people who know the real truth about the Watchtower, and are working hard to deliver the message. The Society's days are numbered, and the members are dwindling. Keep praying.

Are you kidding me??
The biggest misconception out there is that Jesus is God! He is a god, but not the ALMIGHTY God. Jesus is never referred to as Almighty, Mighty yes, but not ALmighty.
And as for Jehovah's Witnesses' numbers dwindling as someone on here said, you couldn't be more wrong. Their membership has been growing at an unbelievable rate! Compare that to the churches out there that are empty and getting turned into condos!

*shrug* Everyone is entitled to their beliefs. There are many religions who don't believe that Jesus is God. As long as people don't insult my beliefs, I'm going to simply hope and pray that they live good lives. God knows that there are Christians who believe that Jesus is God who act in a very UN-Christian way.

Just tell them you aren't allowed to listen to false prophets, and since their founders all made repeated end time prophecies which of course didn't happen, they are technically false prophets.
You can't stop them from spreading their nonsense, but you can educate christians by setting them straight before any cults get hold of them.
