make your own.
1. go to the egg section and find whole eggs in those milk-carton-like containers. If you read the side of the container you will see that the container holds about 5 eggs AND they have been pasteurized, so no fear of death from eating raw eggs.
2. get whole milk or maybe also get some 11% cream.
3. put eggs in glass, add milk, add a bit of sugar or stevia and some real vanilla extract. whisk with a fork.
4. put some cinammon on top or nutmeg.
5 .add some rum (optional)

OMG, I love eggnog! I try to get on the outside of as much of it I can when it is in season! In the milk dept. It comes in 1/2 gal, quart & plastic bottle. I add rum to mine! It's to die for!!

Egg- Nog=Egg / Brandy
t is obtainable all the year round
( at all wine and spirit outlets )
It is alcoholic
I like to have a small glass, neat ,
while i make the Christmas mince pies
it is often served as a
"Snow-Ball" == egg brandy -- diluted with fizzy lemon +ice
Yum!

I was in the store last week and saw some out - I think you can find the canned kind all year 'round, but the stuff in cartons is seasonal.
