Here is what I'm looking for:

I need a database that keeps records much like Access, but when you select a record, it has a link to a document that contains all of the information in the database.

For example, the database has fields A, B, C, D, and E. When I select record 1, double click it, a form opens that shows all of the information contained in fields A-E in document form.

Does such a product exist, or can I do this with Access?

Thank you!!

Access will do this.

An Access file is a database. Database's contain (among other things) tables. A table is comparable to a worksheet in Excel. Change "table" for "database" in your question, and you will have asked the appropriate question.

You are asking for a form linked to a table. Create a database in Access, and in there create your table. Then create your form based on the table. There are wizards in Access to help you with this.

Have fun!
