i have a date to the dance coming up and my mom told me to buy the ticket for him but i wasnt sure if he already bought one. so i just bought one for myself. now i feel kinda bad cuz i asked if he wanted me to buy it for him and he was like no im buying u a ticket and i told him i already bought one for myself and he said "it ruined the whole tradition" and i cant give the ticket to someone else because they highlight your name if you've already bought one! any ideas??

pleeeez, tell him to stop getting hung up on such trivial problems and learn to enjoy what can be at the dance, sounds like he is trying way to hard

It's okay just tell him your sorry that he can buy it next time lol. But yeah if a guy asks you to a dance, if he's a gentleman he will buy both yours and his tickets. Tell him he can keep the tradition going by picking you up and taking you out to dinner before the dance!

Don't worry about it...just be glad you have a date and tell him to get over the whole "you broke the tradition" thing...it's not a problem
