I carved my pumpkin last night for Halloween. Any suggestions on what to do with the seeds? I've heard you can bake/broil them....

Roasted Pumpkin seeds
2 cups pumpkin seeds, rinsed and drained
2 tablespoons margarine
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
PREPARATION:
Let pumpkin seeds dry on paper towels. Toss cleaned pumpkin seeds with oil and salt; spread out on a cookie sheet. Bake in a 250° oven for about 1 hour, or until the pumpkin seeds are dry, stirring occasionally.

Separate the seeds from pumpkin flesh and strings. Wash them well and spread them on paper towels to dry. Next spread seeds evenly over a cookie sheet. Heat them in a 375-degree oven for 20-30 minutes. raise the oven temperature to 400. Brown the seeds for five to 10 minutes until golden brown. Sprinkle with salt and serve hot or cold.

Definitely bake them in the oven with a pinch of salt. Do you have a nice set of pans (stainless)? If not, get a free set from here!

roast
I have done this a few times for my grand-daugh ter.
put them on a cookie sheet spread out in a 400 oven and let them cook until they are dryed out then let them cool, I can't tell you how long to bake them you just have to watch them, some get dry faster than others
