Go to the Senior Center and have meals and watch tv with the elderly. Er... I mean keep them company. They will knit you sweaters and tell you how cute you are. Plus you will learn neat things about the past from them.
There must be a program like that.

do u happen to be in NHS if so they give u pently of chances to get hours and u could always ask a teacher if they need help gradeing some papers or something like that

Check with a church, ymca or volunteer to help serve Thanksgiving lunch. Some of the fire departments will let you help them as well.

Cleaning up stuff on Saturday at your local park, that is what I did for my church in the summer. I would stay there all day.
