I suggest you try this Claypot Chicken Rice which is quite easy. I got the recipe from a girlfriend and it works! You don't need a claypot cos you can cook this recipe in the rice cooker.
Claypot Chicken Rice (for 2 persons)
Uncooked Rice - 1 cup
Raw Chicken Breast - 1 slab, boneless
Dried Black Mushroom - 4 pieces, soaked in water and sliced thinly
Lap Cheong - 1 strip, if available (this is optional), sliced thinly
2 cm ginger - cut into tiny little pieces
2 cloves garlic - cut into tiny little pieces
light soy sauce - 2 tbsp (this is the regular soy sauce)
dark soy sauce - 2 tbsp (what we call ore tau ewe, it is very thick and black)
sherry - 2 tbsp (optional)
sesame oil - 2 tbsp
pepper to taste
Method:
Cut the chicken into thin slices. Marinate it for a few hours (or
overnight) in the fridge in all the above ingredients except for the
rice. Cook the rice in your rice cooker, shortening the water by the amount of liquid in your chicken. When the water in the rice cooker is boiling, dump in the chicken mixture. When the rice "tiak" (the button has jumped up) wait about 1/2 hour and then open the lid and stir everything up. It is now ready to eat.

If you like Chicken. Here it is my favorite "Chicken Bake". for2. . Thaw out 2 pounds chicken, remove fat. dice chicken into 1/4 " cubes. Cook up some plain white rice. you wanna have: seasoned crutons, cheese soup 1 can, cream of chicken 1 can, sour cream 1 cup, 1 pound of celery, a 2x6x10" pan to final bake. Make sure to butter up the pan so as not to stick. Put the rice(about 2 cups cooked) In the bottom of pan. Put raw chicken on top of rice evenly. Add celery evenly. In a seperate pan heat up the cheezy soup, the cream of chicken soup, and the cup of sour cream. next poor out the contents over the chicken and rice blend in the 2x6x10" pan. Heat your oven to 375 F. Cook for about 25 minutes then put your crutons on top(crushed or not). Heat for an additional 3 minutes to heat up the crutons. Enjoy!!!!!!

Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich
1. Start with good beef such as a Rib Eye steak.
2. Shave the beef very thin so it cooks quickly and remains tender.
3. Use a fresh high quality Italian roll - Amoroso’s is a favorite.
4. Decide if you want your steak with or without fried onions.
5. Decide if you want a steak or a cheesesteak. If you elect a cheesesteak you need to decide on American cheese, provolone or the Philly favorite "cheez whiz".
6. Any add-ons? Mushrooms, peppers, pizza sauce, tomatoes? You decide. It’s your sandwich.
7. Start to cook. Sauté the onions, peppers and mushrooms until soft.
8. Fry your steak until brown but not crispy or burned. You can mix in the fried vegetables now or add them at the end.
9. If you elect American cheese or provolone place the cheese on the meat until slightly melted. If you choose Cheez Whiz just smear it on the roll.
10. Place the roll over the meat/cheese/vegetables and scoop it into the sandwich.
11. Garnish your sandwich with pizza sauce, hot or sweet peppers or pickles as you choose.
12. Enjoy your Philadelphia cheesesteak.

Substitution
Use Green Giant® Mexicorn® whole kernel corn with red and green peppers instead of plain corn to add even more of a Southwest twist to this skillet bake.

Don’t have Cheddar cheese? Use the same amount of another cheese you have on hand.
