I do the same thing. For instance we go to all the relatives houses and then If there's a cool house I've always wanted to take a peak at we'll go there and be nosey. this sound crazy, but I'm from a small town...you get the picture.

This year is our daughters 1st halloween. Since she is so young we will be going trick-or-treating at the local mall. Due to safety as well as general participation during the holiday I fear the days of door to door trick or treating are limited. At least in our area.

Same thing as you pretty much. We go around the neighborhood and then over to grandma's because she always has treats for them and loves to see their little costumes. Sometimes we even go to church events. The one we go to has games set up all over and the kids get a piece of candy and a ticket for every game they play. At the end they trade the tickets in for prizes like big floor puzzles and building blocks.

i have a 3 yr old, we do the same. visit the relatives that live close, visit a few houses in a nearby sub and we help hand out candy at an aunt's house...my son loves to hand out the candy more than go house to house asking for candy!!

We do the same. Just friends and family. My children are 3, 4, and 6.

I am taking my toddler to my church Harvest Festival where they will have candy and bounce houses, etc.. It's safe and doesn't have the evil themes that we find in traditional halloween.

I have taken my little cousins to the mall, its safer than going around to houses they don't know. the stores like to give out candy to the kids. its fun for them too, and well lit.

i take my girls to a church. they have it set up where you go like in a circle to different people and get candy. It's alot nicer and safer then going door to door.
