I wear it up a lot. A casual twist up looks professional or casual depending on the day. I practiced for days to learn how. A stylist could help teach you to do french twists or cute loose buns, or whatever strikes your fancy.
I also do the high on my head ponytail too. I have the face for it and I'm not too old yet that I can pull it off.
I get it styled long (professionally blown out) but keep it pushed back off my face and behind my shoulders when it is being styled with product to keep it in place. This is how I wear it probably 50% of the time. Then my hubby bought a convertible. Forget it! If it isn't in a hat or in a ponytail, it takes 45 minutes to get the knots out! Ouch.
I just hate my hair short. It requires work to get it to look good. At least with it long I can pull it back and go!

i used to have long hair and it got on mi nerves sometimes too...i'd usually put it up in a pony tail when i was jus going to school or hanging around my house...when i was going to church or dinner or somethiong out i'd put it up in a half-ponytail...u can get tons of books from the library or look online for some styling tips for long hair...u could try using a curling iron and curl it and then put it up in a half pony tail so u would still have ur long hair but a different look (the other way around only with straightening if u can curly hair)...barettes and shiny clips and hair bands r also good for keeping your hair out of your face but still keeping it long. it all depends on what u like.

If your hair length is driving you up a wall why dont you take a few inches off and add layers? You can throw it up in a loose bun or ponytail or part it to the side and curl the ends in. There are many ways to style hair. Pick up a hairstyle magazine for ideas on how to cut it or for ideas on new styles.

I have long hair too! I usually just wear it down and straight but I also like putting it in pig tails and it is harder to wear up but my hair is layered so I usually just put the top layers up really cute and leave the rest down it looks really cute!

I like long hair, it to me is easier to fix. I cut 15 inches off my hair 3 monthes ago and now I have to blow dry, straiten it and style it. Before I could just wash and go or put it up in a ponytail!!

Yeah I know, it takes alot of effort, but those of us who have long hair have alot of different options as far as hairstyles go. Up, down, in the back.....curly. straight. In a pony tail not a little piggy tail.

I am the same way.. I love long hair but i go and spend all this money on cutting it and then i end up throwing it up in some kind of bun/ponytail look. I recently cutt long bangs and layered my hair so it gives it a lot of body but i still throw it up in my usual pineapple updoo

mostly i wear it loose,or with a hairband, sometimes i braid it.occasionally i pony tail it.sometimes, french braid,or half-up half-down,for weddings and dress occasions.i never blow dry, unless its totally freezing or rainy out.i let it air dry,and because its wavy, all i have to do is let it dry by itself, just a little curl spray stuff and i scrunch it.its easy for me,but not everyone likes the feeling of lots of hair flowing all around.i cut it short once, and i missed that sensation,so its long again.

i like having long hair as well, but being in my face all day annoys me so i usually wear it up, in a pony tail, braid, french braid if i have the patience and sometimes in a bun.
