I keep seeing all of these questions that could be resolved so easily by using google or wikipedia.

Of course, I'd bet that if I researched my own question, the answer would be a big fat resounding NO!

Students seem to instinctively gravitate towards Wikipedia for locating references but there is nothing scholarly, trustworthy, and so forth about Wikipedia. In the spirit of sharing, I thought you might be interested to read what the developer of Wikipedia has to say about this as well as the postings from professors available @ the Chronicle online: http://chronicle.com/wiredcampus/article/1328/wikipedia-founder-discourages-academic-use-of-his-creation

Interaction my dear lady, interaction. Sometimes things are not always written down or on the internet. It's also educational to hear what other people are thinking. Sometimes you come to find out that those people are really weird, and some are cool, but that my dear is why I use Yahoo! Answers.

any site from the natinal science foundation just look it up . start with www.polar.org lots of science links there. it would help alot if we knew what you where trying to research . woods whole is another look it up its about the ocean research
