IMO, marriage is a sacred vow between a man and a woman.

No, one of my best friends is gay and I see nothing wrong with it. Now do understand that I don't want to see a gay couple have sex, or any couple for that matter! But I honestly do not see anything wrong with a gay marriage. Love is love and you can not help who you are attracted too!

Yes! Being Gay whether ya Believe it or Not is NOT Normal.
It is a SIN. and Not that I care what other people do in their bedrooms ( to each their Own ) but I will not teach My Kids that it is an acceptable NORMAL Behavior. If thats you choice then keep it in the bedroom.
I will add that IF someone chooses to be gay and they want to support a partner. I would say the laws should be changed in order to provide insurance for whoever they choose, but I would also allow thatthe same laws apply to a sister taking care of a sister ( provided she isnt able to care for herself ) or other similiar situations.
I don't see why gays would Want the laws to be changed. as of now they dont have to worry about divorce and who gets half of it all! :p

No there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. It doesn't affect other straight people so I don't understand why they get so mad at it. If gays want to marry then I think they have the right to be as miserable as anyone else who is married.

Apparently it depends on who you ask. I don't have a problem with gays marrying, but according to lots of folks on yahoo answers the whole idea of giving gays the same rights as straights would get Jesus all ticked off.

I don't think so.

I think that we need to learn to accept all of the difference's and changes in our society. I would really like to see gay/lesbian couples be given the same rights as anyone else. After all they are just people in love right. Why shouldn't they be able to share that with their friends and family, and make it official and real?

What do you think?

Why does government regulate marriage at all? Marriage is a social and or religious tradition. Maybe bar mitzfahs and baptisms should be governed as well. It is no body's business who marries whom and how many.

Not in my opinion. I think it is hysterical that the heterosexual community, that has a higher than 50% divorce rate, has the nerve to tell homosexuals that they are sinful and breaking down the American family! HA!

Why do we even bother asking such questions?
I think ANY love is healthy and deserves the respect of society.
Those who impose restrictions on love based on any prejudgements are EVIL....Yes THEY are the EVIL, Godless people in the world. They are for ALL kinds of WAR and only for CERTAIN kinds of LOVE.... Is that deranged? Of course it is!!!
