what can i eat apart from meat that will help me grow muscie

Sorry mate but man was designed to eat meat
We are OMNIVORES designed to eat meat AND Vegetables
if you want to grow up strong and healthy eat a well balanced diet, and exercise.

im not vegatarian but i served a year in antarctica with a whole bunch of them . we where down there with ratheon polar services . ok this is the most extrem conditions in the world all theses guys ate where veggies they where fine . they ate lots of pasta salads etc i tryed it for a month or so i didnt lose no mass im a fairly big guy 6ft 180 . there where guys way bigger than me there working out that didnt eat no meat at all. i use to hate vegetarians but not that i see that there are alot that dont just try to push others into theyer way of life . i think they are ok the hard core vegans that think i shouldnt eat meat or hunt animals really suck .

Not necessarily, provided you get enough protein from other sources and do resistance exercise.

You can look to pulses, (beans, peas, lentils, etc) and nuts for good protein, and, if you are not vegan, then there is good, first class protein to be had from low-fat dairy - skimmed milk, cottage cheese, yoghurt,etc, and from eggs. I say low fat dairy because if you are interested in developing muscle mass you don't want your hard-earned gains obscured by a layer of fat. You need some fat in your diet, but choose your sources carefully.

You do need to work out with weights though.

substitute the protein you don't consume with an egg a day and plenty of dairy and there are loads of meat substitute foodstuffs like tofu or meat free sausages or chicken nuggets
