I am 39 weeks pregnant and my due date is on monday. Me and my husband really want it to be monday or tuesday because its halloween and it would be really cool. I havent been walking or doing anything yet to get him here simply because I feel if I did he would probably already be here. So I am trying to keep him in my belly..lol. Should I start walking around sat. or sunday to get things going, so I could possibly have him on his due date (30th) or the 31st? At the point that I am now is I feel if I start walking and doing things it wont take much to get him here. I am 1cm dilated and fully effaced. The doc. said he is already down there and basically waiting to come out. So should I try sat. or sunday? I will probalby walk until I drop, then sex..lol of corse (may be the last time for a while.lol). I also heard walking up and down steps? Anyway, your opinions are appreciated, and if for some reason we cant get him here then I am going to be induced on Nov. 8th for my dad's bday :)

My youngest son was due on Feb 4th. On Feb 3rd, my husband and I crawled into bed after a day of walking, cleaning the kitchen floor with small sponges, and rearranging the living room. For about an hour he massaged my breasts. When I woke up at 5:30 the next morning I lost my mucus plug and went into labor. I had heard this trick worked and it seemed to have worked for me.

Hope it helps!!! Good luck and tell the lil one Happy Halloween for me!!!!

I would start walking Sunday afternoon b/c it sounds like he's ready to come at any moment. It might not take too much physical activity to get things going. You can also do what the other women did and have your husband massage your breast, this stimulates your uterus and make it contract. Good luck with your new addition.

He will come when he is ready... I wouldn't try to have him on Halloween, it may seem cool but my boyfriends b-day is on Valentines day and he hates it because it really doesn't feel like his day! Good luck and congrats on the new coming baby ; )

I went to school with kids who shared their birthdates with holidays --- they all complained about being cheated out of their special day ... especially the 3 who born on Christmas.
