Maybe the authors were inspired by the creator to write, but it WAS NOT written by God. God was not there telling man what to write either, why would a god need to do that?

he wouldn't....he preserved it over centuries too :)...although he did tell moses what to write when he wrote the ten commandments. Its purpose is to spread God's good news of Jesus Christ's death on the cross, to save us from our sins. Why debate about things that are so silly. Either accept it as truth or don't. There is no reason to be angry either way. If you are angry you should ask yourself why?

Men wrote it but were inspired and told by God what to write. God did that so that we will have a Bible to read....straight from the mouth of God. Instead of just telling them and word of mouth....and you know how that goes...people change things kinda like Gossip. In the book of John Chapter 1 verses 1-5, it says "In the beginning was the word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not."

Considering that many books were written 300 years after Christ's crusifixion, no. It was based on the teachings and passed down knowledge. There is great debate even in the church that books were written and not written that may or may not be in the current bible. At the time the bible was written there were three major christian churches. Even they disagreed with each others interpretations and sought to destroy each other. Consider though that the Quran was written in nearly mirror image of the christian bible's Old Testament. So did the christian God and Allah consult each other or is it the same text, just changed by the human publisher with human mistakes?

Wrong again. The Bible WAS written by God through men.

2Pe 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
2Pe 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
In Christ in Love,

Inspired has a distinct meaning. Perhaps you would find it to be to your advantage to learn of the higher levels of the mind and what their function really is..Do you ever wonder how inventors come up with their ideas? Sort of found to be coming from the level of the abstract.. but where does the abstract gain that information... many levels to consider.. Is also a very interesting study.

Of course the Bible was not written by God. The Old Testament was a collection of stories handed down through the generations. The New Testament was the collective writings of those who were closest to Jesus.

Good question. I think that Judaism and Christianity, like all other religions, are man-made. I think that the authors of religious texts were inspired by their IDEA of divinity, much in the same way an artist is inspired by a sunset.

Written by humans such as Moses, David, Matthew, Peter, John and the others.

The Bible was not written by God but INSPIRED by God.

no, LOL...it wasnt' even inspired by a god. a god would never make that many human errors, and a god wouldn't be that hateful and mass-murderous.

history knows it wasn't god-inspired -- it was edited and compiled (and partially written) by Constantine, a PAGAN Roman Emperor.

that people actually follow it, knowing that, is utterly and completely ridiculous. it's like following Peter Pan as a cult.

the christian cult is really Something Else!!
