Don't like Davina at all, I love the old-fashioned names like Hannah, Emma, Claire

I prefer Hannah. hannah will always be a nice name, Its classic. Davina is trendy and will seem trashy in the future. Kind of like the name Crystal (sorry to all the Crystals--I'm sure you're not trashy, but your parents may have been!). Also hannah has the cool feature that its the same name spelled backwards and forwards, like Anna, but far cooler!

Hannah, because Davina sounds like a boy's name (David)

Why is your question in singles and dating? Are you yet another unwed mother? Are you over the age of 14? We get to help name her, because my tax money is supporting the 2 of you?
Just asking...
I don't like either name. One is not a name for a grown-up, even tho is means "beloved." The other is a Hebrew name meaning "grace of god." Are you celtic or a hebrew god worshipper?
A baby will be grown up a lot longer than it is a baby.
My personal opinion is that names are very important. The mother and father's sides should both be represented, and the gender easily figured out. It saves so much aggravation not to name them goofy spellings, and complicated names.
I wanted my CHILDREN to be outstanding, not their names.
Go to 11,000 baby names, and pick ones that people can pronouce and remember.
For instance, Elizabeth Wilson Teaneck-a girl from the wilson and teaneck families.
Jada Lindsay Sanchez-girl, mother's mother's maiden name, and father's last name.
It sounds like a child whose family has high expectations, and hope for, not someone like Davina Joylou Poottassle, who works at Sonic. Apple Picnic Tinkerbelle, a hot new stripper.
Think about the future of your child, not a fairy tale.
Good luck.

Hannah. It's feminine and classic. Davina is too masculine sounding.
