Actually, I think the trend now is wavy curly hair or hair with lots of volume. You can get your hair layerd for volume. The long straight look is pretty much out. The mod look is in, with the whole side swept bangs.
In a sense, it's all about the 80's now adays...at least ya don't have to have the banana fan stiff bangs or big poofy hair.

I always look through magazines and cut out pages of what i would want my hair to look like. if you have a good hairdresser they should be able to tell you what would look good on you.. If you hair is long go for long layers all over it gives your hair lot's of body without having to style it.

one of the most hip styles in hair right now is to have straight hair! no depend on the shape of your face && how much time you want to spend on styleing your hair is completley up to you!

Mine is blown out straight with bangs in the front. It's very straight and blunt and perfect for the daytime.
