I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It's time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!
Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:
1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.
2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.
I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn’t use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured…if we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don’t want us to know.
There is a great website: http://cure-my-acne.info/3daycure/ that has all the details. I really suggest you check it out and see if it works as well for you as it did for me.

It sounds like you're overusing acne products. It sounds weird, but the best soap to use is Neutrogena - it's in the blue pump bottle. It's really gentle but cleans really well. I've had horrible acne for 10 years so I know what it's like. Also, Neutrogena moisturizer is really good and dermatologist recommended. Your dermatologist should also make some other recommendations. Hope this helps a little!

Using benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid at the same time will overdry your skin. As someone already suggested, take Natures Cure. I used it for years and loved it. I only get an occasional pimple now....Anyway, don't combine bp and sa, that will overdry your skin. My personal preference is salicylic acid. I use St Ives medicated scrub (with salicylic acid) to clean and exfoliate...I use Neutrogena Healthy Defense moisturizer, mixed right in with my foundation and....for when I do get a pimple, I treat it with Ella Bache Creme Intex No. 2. It is a little spendy but it lasts YEARS! I contains cod liver oil as someone has already pointed out would be good for your skin.

both salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide dry out your skin,
apply the benzoyl peroxide every other day
and dont wash your face more that 2x a day
i had the exact same problem as you and used the same stuff on my skin, and the benzoyl peroxide really fukced it up..so i would recommend you stop using it
so now i use St Ives cream cleanser in the morning(contains some salicylic acid & tea tree oil [which both kill acne]) and at night i used St Ives medicated scrub(2% salicylic acid). after i wash my face i put 'Nivea Soft' on as a moisturizer. its the best moisturizer i ever used and doesnt irrate my skin. it contains jojoba oil & vitamin e. you should deff. try it but wait 5-10 min after washing your face to put on the moisturizer
another good thing to do is buy an aloe vera plant from the grocery store and cut a peice off and smear the ooze from inside the plant on your face it reduces the redness and inflammation

Now don't laugh until you try it. Fish oil is excellent to cure the problem of dry skin. It is an old Native American remedy that works well. You could buy some fish oil capsules (in the vitamin section) of your local pharmacy to try out. You can ingest the capsules but you should open them and apply directly to your skin. It worked for me and you know that puppies wouldn't lie to you. It works especially well on dry knees and elbows. Woof!

Hello, My name is angel, and i understand the conflict your going thru with acne, i had the same problem until i found this great product..... its called "NATURES CURE" its in a green and white box with a picture of a gurl on it. It consists of pills and a cream. You take 2 pills a day, one in the morning and 1 at nite, same with the cream. TRUST me on this i've been using it for the past couple months and my face is completly free of acne. I bought it at wal-mart store, so if you have a wal-mart store look for it. they make it for males to so make sure you get the one that say's females on it. It runs about $9.00 a box and its a month or 2 month supply. let me know if you get it.
But around your period you will still get a couple pimples, cuz i do. but other than that it works great.

exfoliation wipes away the top layer of skin and should only be done once a week therefore you are over doing it and sheding skin.
Use vinegar as this always makes my skin soft and also olive oil.
