Just saw this article.

The best times I remember as a child were playing as a kid with others, and Tag was a huge part of those memories.

I understand their are some concerns that kids can get hurt, hell kids get hurt everyday, it's part of growing up!! Are there seriously parents out there who would sue their childs school if they were hurt there? Give me abreak! If your so concerned about your childs welfare, KEEP THEM AT HOME! Don't send them to school, home school them. That is the only way to make sure their safe.

Let kids play TAG! Let them run around and have fun with their friends. I find this banning of Tag, It, and whatever name people are or have called it before ludicrious. I mean, might as well ban walking for kids. Without walking they couldn't go anywhere, and therefore wouldn't get hurt.... right?

Kids getting hurt is a growing up process that shouldn't be taken away!

You know I think it happened because we live in a world where people will sue for the stupidest things, like there kid getting injured playing tag while at school. But I think that If they are so concerned then maybe they should not allow hop scotch for the kids might eat the choc, or not allow staring contest because the kids might get crossed eyed. I agree that they should not get rid of tag. If schools are so worried then maybe they should change the dress code to having the kids where bubble wrap so they don't get hurt. TAG IS A MUST FOR YOUNG KIDS!!!!!!!!

Yep- people suck- my friends child care center is being sued because a child fell off the monkey bars and broke his arm. We are turning children into litigation happy pansies.

You are absolutely right. Besides, I remember when I broke my arm playing tackle football, like five years ago, and I didn't sew the school.

Next they're going to make kids wear helmets when they sit on the toilet in case they fall off.
