I do know that disability is not determined based on the condition.
For example you cannot get SSI for having multiple sclerosis or tinnitus or PTSD etc. It has to do with the severity of the disability and your ability to work in your profession. I'm no expert, there's a lot of case law built up around this. But you can't decide based only on a diagnosis or condition.

You have to have two doctors- yours and theirs- who say you are unable to do any kind of work.

if you can prove it keeps you from preforming any type of work to support yourself
