German Baby

"Quick, easy and delicious. Serve with lemon wedges, warm maple syrup and jam. "
Original recipe yield: 1 to 2 servings

PREP TIME 5 Min
COOK TIME 20 Min
READY IN 25 Min

INGREDIENTS
3 eggs
3/4 cup milk
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup butter
2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Place butter in a 10 inch cast iron skillet and heat the skillet in oven.
Beat eggs at high speed with an electric mixer. Slowly add the milk and flour.
Pour batter into hot skillet. Return skillet to oven and bake for 20 minutes. It will rise like a souffle, then fall when taken out of oven. Lightly dust with powdered sugar and serve.

1 cup of all purpose flour,half tsp. of salt,1 tsp. of baking powder,2 tsp. sugar.
Mix the dry ingredients then add 1 cup of milk minus 2 tbsp.,1 large egg and
1 tsp.of cooking oil.Don't over mix or you will beat all the air out.If you want
add your favorite fruit,my boys like chocolate chips.Fry them up and enjoy.
It's very easy.It's my grandma's recipe

Buy the stuff that you just add water to and shake. I would say there is enough for two in that container.
